CIF & IOSH Managing Safely in Construction
Approved and validated by The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), this certificate in Safety and Health is specifically designed for employers, project managers, architects and engineers, as well as for safety officers, project supervisors and site managers.
The course deals with a wide range of industry specific aspects including: Regulations; Safety Plans and Statements; Hazardous Substances; Electrical Hazards; Demolition; Risk Assessment; Communication in Health and Safety etc.
This course also qualifies as a module under the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Certificate/Diploma in Site Management.
Renewal Process
Continued Professional Development (CPD) in safety and health is an essential part of the supervision and managment role within the Construction Industry. Therefore, any person who has completed the full CIF MSIC/PSCS/PSDP programmes should attend this CPD course every 3 years to ensure that their CIF Safety Management Card is up-to-date for use on site. This course can also be attended as a stand alone course for those who wish to recieve a safety update without attending the full CIF MSIC/PSCS/PSDP programmes.
